Overview

Senior Risk Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our efforts in collecting, organizing and interpreting statistical information to drive informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate will monitor performance metrics, analyze portfolio trends, and identify opportunities for improvement. Strong analytical skills, mathematical expertise, and experience with databases and statistics are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Analysis : Conduct regular portfolio analysis through segmentation, vintage / cohort analysis.

Data Evaluation : Test and evaluate external data providers or decision tools such as credit bureaus, fraud prevention systems.

Risk Strategies : Support the development and enhancement of risk strategies including acquisition, limit management, collections.

New Scoring Models : Participate in the design and testing of new scoring models and underwriting policies.

Collaboration : Collaborate closely with Data Science, Collections, Marketing, Product teams.

Reporting : Prepare dashboards and presentations for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and mathematical skills with at least 3 years of experience in credit risk, portfolio analytics, or scorecard development.

Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of and experience with databases and statistics (SQL, Python) - at least 3 years of experience.

Data Visualization : Data visualization packages (Tableau, Looker, etc.).

Credit Lifecycle : Solid understanding of the credit lifecycle from application to repayment to default.

Statistical Knowledge : Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Python, SPSS, SAS etc.).

Methodological Approach : Methodological way of working and ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks accordingly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education : Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or a related subject involving math's such as economics or data science.

Language : Fluent English.

Experience : At least 3 year of experience as Data Analyst / Credit Analyst within Risk Department.

Independence : Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
