Workday HRIS Integration Specialist (m / f / x) - 1 year Contract Atolls Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain
Overview You’ll be our Workday HRIS Integration Specialist, building, running, and improving integrations across Workday and the rest of our stack. You’ll work with HRIS product manager, People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, and IT to ship reliable feeds, APIs, and events, and you’ll own the lifecycle from design to support. Expect hands‐on work with Workday EIB, Studio, Core / Cloud Connectors, PECI, SOAP / REST APIs, and RaaS.
Responsibilities Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations (inbound / outbound) using EIB, Studio, and Core / Cloud Connectors.
Develop / maintain and support payroll interfaces.
Build API integrations using Workday SOAP and REST services; implement OAuth 2.0 for REST and credentials for SOAP as appropriate.
Deliver RaaS (Reports‐as‐a‐Service) integrations for bulk / reporting data needs.
Set up secure transports (SFTP / HTTPS), PGP encryption, and certificate management.
Model and map data for HCM, Absence, Compensation & Benefits, and Finance objects; handle deltas and effectively manage data.
Define and manage Workday Integration System Users (ISU) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSG) with least‐privilege domain access.
Write functional and technical specs; create mapping docs and sequence diagrams.
Plan and run unit, SIT, and UAT; promote to prod using change control.
Monitor integrations, build dashboards / alerts, and handle incident response with root‐cause fixes.
Partner with the Product Manager on requirements and roadmap.
Your Profile 4+ years in Workday integrations, with production ownership.
Strong with EIB, Studio, and Core / Cloud Connectors.
Hands‐on with payroll interfaces.
Solid SOAP / REST Workday API skills; XML / JSON; XSLT or similar; OAuth 2.0.
RaaS (advanced reports exposed as web services).
Workday security concepts : ISU, ISSG (constrained / unconstrained), domain security policies.
Version control and CI / CD for integration code; test planning and execution.
Clear documentation and stakeholder communication.
Day‐to‐day tech : Workday : EIB, Studio, Core / Cloud Connectors, PECI, SOAP / REST, RaaS.
Formats / transport : XML, JSON, CSV, SFTP / HTTPS, PGP.
Tools : Git, JIRA, Confluence, Postman.
