Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels for data center operations.
- Perform in‑depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and site‑level projects.
- Install equipment, create documentation, and innovate solutions within the Data Center Space.
- Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.
- Act independently and in collaboration with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Work shift schedules that include days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24 / 7 operations.

Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.Work in cramped and / or elevated locations.Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.Stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.Work in a noisy environment.Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24 / 7 operations.Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.1+ years of computer networking experience.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a data center or other critical environment.Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.Understanding of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting.Associate’s degree or 2+ years of professional or military experience in an IT‑related field.Compensation
Base pay for this position ranges from $50,600 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
