DXC Spain is seeking a Google Cloud Architect to join our cloud team and lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that support our customers’ digital transformation journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic influence across projects to implement cost‑effective cloud solutions.
  • Engage in concept discussions to propose technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Articulate opportunities, costs, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders around platform architecture and implementation.
  • Design and define cloud architectural solutions and oversee implementations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of application and data architectures in the cloud.
  • Ensure IT Governance standards are followed and promote collaboration, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture.
  • At least 3 years delivering Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.
  • Proven track record of successful cloud migration or greenfield projects.
  • Experience implementing third‑party SaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and deploying complex infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking and CI / CD processes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and automation.
  • Broad knowledge of cloud technology developments and vendor activities.
  • Experience in cloud design, strategy, and architecture activities.
  • Capable of leading vendor / partner discussions to define architectures.
  • Availability to travel frequently to client premises within Europe.
