Database Admin

Overview

DBA role at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Madrid, Spain. We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks :

• Creation and database installation
• Database operation support (daily operation, incident, problem and change management, batch performance, security and user administration, error corrections, inquiries response, backup, etc.)
• System management (performance management, database administration, capacity optimization and administration, reorganization, storage management, etc.)
• Monitoring of databases (alarm responses, repair, prevention activities, information, ensure availability of programs and services)
• Optimizing space efficiency on databases
• Monitoring and setting up criteria for database backup and reorganization considering system load to ensure optimal performance
• Database patching
• Assisting in problem solving including database recovery
• Development and maintenance of database-related documentation
• Consultancy on database operational technical conditions
• Establishing and maintaining operational and system documentation
