Senior Life Science Software Engineer

Overview

As a Life Science Software Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation for our clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. You will own the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems solutions and apply next-generation technologies to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable business value. Responsibilities

• Assess customer processes, infrastructure, IT systems (ERP, LIMS, and automation layers) to identify opportunities for MES implementation and digital transformation.
• Lead the design and development of the Process and Knowledge Management (PKM) software application using technologies such as Python, NoSQL databases, and AngularJS / HTML5.
• Map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes, define strategic vision, and quantify expected benefits from MES solutions.
• Conduct high-level business and technical analyses including value-stream mapping, requirements definition, validation planning, and gap analysis. Perform FEED studies as needed.
• Provide high-level support during project delivery, mentor technical leads, and participate in key customer meetings.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, participating in architecture and design reviews and building long-term relationships.
• Deliver presentations and documentation tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting customer engagements and industry events.
• Provide Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback to product and marketing teams, and support the Syncade sales team in large international pursuits.
