Location : Madrid Office – Hybrid : 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week.

What You’ll Do
- Monthly Tax Provision and Reporting : Lead the preparation and internal reporting of the monthly tax provision and effective tax rate calculations, analyse tax data and provide timely insights to senior management.
- Deferred Tax Asset (DTA) Management : Prepare and post all deferred tax asset calculations, ensure proper valuation and reporting of DTAs and liabilities, and maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Financial Statement Reporting : Prepare and review tax-related notes and disclosures for accounting and financial statements in accordance with IFRS or Local GAAP.
- Jurisdiction Onboarding : Manage tax function aspects of expanding into new jurisdictions; identify, implement, and monitor local and international tax compliance for new entities, collaborating with Legal and Business Development.
- Tax Expense Review and Control : Review financial postings to ensure accurate capture of tax-related expenses; resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Corporate Project Support : Support tax considerations in corporate projects (M&A, reorganizations, system implementations, etc.).
- Process Improvement : Seek opportunities to improve and automate tax reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.Minimum of 5 years in corporate tax with strong focus on tax accounting and reporting.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite / Oracle, SAP, NAV).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience with international tax and multi-jurisdictional reporting is a plus.English (C1), Spanish (C1); additional languages a plus.Why Ebury?
