Category Manager. Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer) Oversee the entire performance and strategy of a product category. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire performance and strategy of a product category.
- Analyse sales data, consumer insights, and market trends to optimize product mix and pricing.
- Identify customer targets within the category and educate internal teams on opportunities or targeting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure 360 supports across channels to drive category performance.
- Ensure category profitability, growth, and alignment with the companys broader marketing strategy.
- Work closely with the Brand Director to upskill commercial and marketing teams, ensuring understanding of category customer targets for all activations, promotions and new product launches.
- Challenge and hold all teams accountable for performance to meet overarching business objectives and the defined category roadmap.
- Work with commercial and customer teams to make ranging and differentiation plans, reinforced by data analysis to support strategic recommendations.
- Work closely with the demand planner to forecast long-term strategies for product demand and size the prize.
- Maintain knowledge of consumer trends and competitor landscape through data sources.
Qualifications
University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.Minimum 2 years experience in Beauty / Luxury or FMCG marketing or knowledge of fashion and premium brand behaviour.Exceptional P&L and commercial acumen.Deep understanding of category management and market dynamics.Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to drive category performance.Expertise in category management, pricing, promotional strategies, and retail optimization.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams and external-facing customers.Company & Opportunities
