What are we looking for now? An experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer and a talented professional looking to step up. We value people at the forefront of technology, developers familiar with different coding languages who can work collaboratively within a big team and also lead on their own. We love new ideas and ways of tackling problems. Our product and stack are a continual work in progress. Fresh perspectives, tools, and programs are always welcome. Our Platform is built on AWS, managed by Terraform, with Kubernetes for microservices, Cassandra, Elasticsearch OS, Druid for data storage, Kafka, Hazelcast and Prometheus, Grafana, ELK for monitoring and logs, everything running on Linux. The DevOps team also manages networking components such as subnets, security groups, and load balancers. The CI pipeline is built using Github Actions and the CD part uses ArgoCD.
What You’ll Do Build and operate the infrastructure upon which all of our services stand.
Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to help them build, deploy, and run high-quality, reliable, and performant software.
Participate in the identification and evaluation of new technologies and platform services.
Be part of our on-call rotation for urgent production incidents.
Continuously expand your knowledge and contribute to our collective learning.
What You’ll Bring Good experience and knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu).
Experience and knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, IaC (Terraform or Pulumi), load balancing and networking at an advanced level.
Experience with Cassandra, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Git, Docker containers. Not all are mandatory, but they score high.
Experience with Git and CI / CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions).
Good knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, SSL, high-availability and distributed systems, monitoring and alerting, security best practices.
Scripting and coding preferably in Bash and Python; other languages are welcome.
Be a team player, well-organised and willing to help.
Proficiency in professional-level English communication, both written and verbal.
