About the Role
Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Professional Services Consultant specializing in Juniper MIST technologies , including EX Series switches, APs, SSR routers, and NAC solutions.
The consultant will act as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Wi‑Fi and wired network infrastructure for large‑scale, high‑availability event environments .
This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless, secure, and high‑performance connectivity across complex multi‑venue deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
Provide expert technical support to maintain Wi‑Fi and wired network stability, performance, and security during live event operations.Deliver proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization across all MIST infrastructure components.Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with venue managers, engineering teams, service providers, and event operations leadership to align network design and deployment with project timelines and evolving requirements.Diagnose and resolve complex wireless and wired network incidents, ensuring rapid root cause analysis and service restoration for critical event connectivity.Documentation & Handover
Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, site survey records, configuration guides, and operational runbooks for handover to operations teams.Identify opportunities to enhance wireless performance, NAC security, and network automation by applying lessons learned from previous high‑traffic event deployments.Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking consulting or solution delivery , ideally within large‑scale or high‑availability environments (sports, broadcast, or public venues).Proven experience designing and implementing Wi‑Fi solutions using enterprise‑grade hardware and controllers.Strong understanding of network monitoring , incident management , and operational support processes.Ability to lead and coordinate multi‑vendor teams under tight deadlines and live event conditions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and client stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting international or large‑scale event networks (sports, entertainment, or technology).Certifications such as JNCIS‑MIST , JNCIP‑MIST , or JNCIE‑ENT .Familiarity with Olympic Games technology delivery models or other event‑driven operations.Experience with MIST AP and Cloud‑based solutions , as well as similar systems from Aruba , Extreme Networks , or Cisco Meraki .Hands‑on experience with Juniper EX / QFX or equivalent Cisco / Arista switching platforms .Strong background in RADIUS / NAC enterprise solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Forescout).Deep understanding of Wi‑Fi technologies , wired switching , and controller‑based architectures .Proficiency with network monitoring tools and Wi‑Fi survey software .Familiarity with wireless standards (802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax) and RF optimization techniques .Knowledge of Layer 2 networking (Ethernet, VLAN, STP, LACP, VRRP, 802.1x) and data center technologies (VXLAN, EVPN, VC, GBP).Experience with SD‑WAN (Session Smart Router / SSR) deployments.Ability to design, troubleshoot, and document complex multi‑site Wi‑Fi environments .Seniority level
