Overview The Manager Product Management will be responsible for the commercial success of a product line and for taking that product line from ideation through design build and launch. The Manager will also be responsible for the lifecycle management of that product line along with balancing corporate goals and long term market trends to ensure development of the most impactful product line extensions or product enhancements.
What you will be doing Establish the vision and strategy for the product line and communicate them across the organization
Understand current and evolving customer and business goals and translate them into a maintainable product vision and roadmap
Encourage customer-focused innovation and provide guidance and oversight for market and customer research to gather insight and understand personas and needs
Coordinate activities with stakeholder departments (including Sales, Marketing, Development, Services) to ensure that new offerings include the desired capabilities and launch on time and within budget
Ensure effective beta and market testing initiatives to gather product feedback and test new products
Monitor and report on the performance of the product line
Have excellent knowledge of product line, competitive products, and emerging trends and how they shape and inform the development process and user experience
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional peers, creating a collaborative culture
Provide business analysis and reporting on a periodic basis
Assist in establishing product development processes, best practices, and policies
Oversee and ensure the utilization of a consistent, objective process to prioritize and select product enhancements
What will make you successful Bachelor's or Master Degree in business, marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
5-7 years of technology or related experience in a fast-moving consumer-facing business
Demonstrated ability to influence multiple cross-departmental stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Thought leader with a solid understanding of the key business drivers and customer dynamics in high-tech industries
Ability to travel up to 40%
