Rust Engineer (Greenfield project)

We are a team dedicated to designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various ventures and projects. These projects are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped quickly with a lean team. You will be actively involved in designing components for scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure. Job Responsibilities Develop and propose architectural decisions, participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, and implement solutions for complex problems in blockchain protocols.

Analyze and resolve challenging issues across blockchain systems.

Collaborate with operations and infrastructure teams to build high-scale backend services.

Document all code and functionalities thoroughly.

Work closely with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to enhance the tech stack for long-term initiatives.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing conflicting stakeholder requirements.

Self-motivated with the ability to define and execute tasks independently.

Willingness to learn, collaborate, and give / receive feedback.

5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in backend development (e.g., Go, Rust, Java, Erlang).

Hands-on experience with cryptographic primitives (e.g., digital signatures, key exchange, encryption).

Basic knowledge of distributed systems and consensus algorithms like Raft or PBFT.

Interest or experience in Go or Rust; experience with blockchain internals is a plus but not required.
