What you can expect

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of our automated integration test landscape and bring it to life.

You standardize our QA process and coordinate with cross-functional teams to put this standardization into practice.

You create and implement reusable test components that can be used in our application landscape

As a test evangelist, you establish best practices and processes to raise our quality to a new level.

You use your software engineering skills in Scrum teams.

You realize quality assurance processes in an agile environment, know the requirements for process flows, from triage and test design to test planning and execution, and communicate the results and impact to the team and other departments.

You will work closely with other development teams, utilizing best practices and continuously working to improve our QA standards.

What sets you apart

You have relevant experience as a developer or QA engineer with a focus on writing automated integration tests.

You are able to identify integration scenarios, write automated integration unit tests and integrate them into a CI / CD pipeline (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

You have experience or knowledge in defining test strategies (TDD, BDD, risk-based testing)

You also have know-how in the implementation of load test scenarios and have used tools such as WebLOAD and JMeter.

You are familiar with acceptance testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Ranorex, Cucumber, Cypress) and development-related test frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Arquillian)

You have experience in Java and TypeScript, know common pitfalls and are able to identify them with your automated tests.

Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

You have strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a feel for the individual needs of our customers.
