Overview
Accountant (Maternity Leave) role at LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics. Ensure that all invoices and expenses are properly processed for payment and accurately recorded in a timely manner to comply with legal requirements.

Responsibilities
- Set up all general ledger accounts and their subaccounts.
- Receive, scan, and upload all invoices to the platform, reviewing amounts and descriptions and assigning the appropriate Cost Center and applicable tax.
- Record supplier invoices (according to payment method), customer charges, and expense reports from all boutiques, and process their payments.
- Record daily sales and reconcile cash balances (considering the different payment methods such as card (POS), bank transfers, deposits, and cash). For cash, coordinate with the bank and the security company for collections and deliveries. Subsequently, report each sale and the corresponding taxes / fees to the Tax Authorities.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and forward the information to Management Control for submission to headquarters.
- Reconcile intercompany balances at month-end to confirm balances with other group companies and report to headquarters. Once amounts are agreed, post the monthly entries.
- Generate, review, and file billing journals.
- Monitor, control, and post customer deposits and credit notes, and report to the relevant public authorities (Tax Agency).
- Provide all required documentation and explanations to internal and external auditors for the issuance of the company’s annual financial statements.
- Monitor and follow up on purchase orders made by each department to ensure budget compliance. Upon receiving the invoice, verify consistency with the record, post, and pay.
- Coordinate and request all official documents needed to register suppliers in the company’s database, including their registration and payment.
