Business Analyst - ETF & Credit Trading

The ETF / Credit Desk in Madrid requires an integrated IT solution to support pricing, data management and trading workflows. High-level objectives include :

• Calculation of ETF pricing for voice quotation and transmission to electronic trading systems
• Data consolidation from multiple external sources and cleanup to enable pricing and trading from a unified data set
• Integration with e-trading systems (e.g., ION) and in-house solutions
• Algo trading support
• Position and Risk Management, P&L

Role Description

Santander seeks a senior Business Analyst experienced in working with market-making Credit traders and in understanding their requirements. The BA will ensure full definition, visibility and understanding of the requirements across all stakeholders, and will communicate the details to technical teams and the architectural lead to ensure delivery of a high-quality solution.

The Business Analyst will also perform project management functions, tracking and communicating progress to stakeholders, senior management and to the Rates / Credit Programme Manager.

Santander uses Agile methodology, so the BA will be responsible for maintaining Epics and User Stories consistent with a Roadmap, and for building out the content of User Stories for consumption by development and testing / QA teams.
