Cybersecurity Detection Engineer

Our team is looking for a Detection Engineer to contribute to our detection engineering capabilities.

• We are seeking an individual with experience in developing and maintaining detection logic, using the latest Threat Intelligence.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in detection engineering on a range of technologies (SIEM and EDR), technical skills in Suricata, Snort, Wireshark and general PCAP assessments or proven experience in SOC or Managed Detection Services. Analytically-minded IT Systems administration / Network Administration with a security context.

A security mindset and demonstrable experience or knowledge of contemporary attack tactics and techniques, forensics or Incident Response competency, strong knowledge of the latest threats in security or eagerness to build this knowledge, experience with simulating attacks.
