Position Overview

OFITECO, an international engineering firm specializing in infrastructure projects such as transportation by road and rail, is seeking an Ingeniero / a en Hidrología y Drenaje for road projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Hydrological and hydraulic analysis of basins and watercourses near road infrastructure.
• Design of longitudinal and transversal drainage systems : ditches, masonry works, water crossings, containment, and retention systems.
• Preparation of technical reports, calculations, plans, measurements, and budgets.
• Application of current regulations (e.g., Instruction 5.2-IC).
• Coordination with teams in routing, structures, geotechnics, and environment.
• Support in hydraulic authorization procedures and flood risk studies.
• Part of a multinational company supporting numerous national and international projects.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team covering all project phases from initial design to commissioning.
