Dynamic Software Engineer for AI Innovation

Overview At UST, we are currently seeking an experienced AI Product Engineer to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves working with a prestigious customer in the banking industry. Our ideal candidate will be a passionate professional with a strong background in software engineering and applied AI positions.

The successful applicant will have over 5 years of experience in software development or applied AI roles. They should possess practical expertise with AI / ML tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, and vector databases.

Responsibilities Identifying and assessing AI / ML application opportunities across engineering platforms

Acting as a primary point of contact for internal customers and platform teams regarding applied AI topics

Translating identified opportunities into actionable backlog items and prioritizing delivery

Implementing proof-of-concept solutions and helping scale successful cases in collaboration with platform teams

Tracking progress, reporting impact and risks to senior stakeholders

Monitoring emerging trends in AI relevant to software delivery and developer experience

Measuring and calculating the productivity benefits and ROI of AI tools using relevant KPIs

Ensuring successful adoption of AI-powered tools through training, guidance, and support for engineers

What do we expect from you? Over 5 years of experience in software engineering or applied AI positions

Practical expertise with AI / ML tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, and vector databases

Proven ability in managing stakeholders, refining backlogs, and delivering products

Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps methodologies

Strong programming skills, with preference for Java, .NET, or TypeScript

Exceptional communication and documentation abilities

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Proficiency in English
