Solution Architect

Location : Málaga, Spain (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)

Design robust, scalable, and secure data and analytics solutions to meet a variety of business and technical requirements.

Own the end-to-end technical architecture across multiple concurrent projects.

Provide hands-on technical leadership across engineering teams, guiding decisions on architecture, tooling, and implementation best practices.

Translate complex client needs into actionable designs, ensuring maintainability, performance, and alignment with product capabilities.

Act as a key technical point of contact for delivery teams and stakeholders, resolving challenges, anticipating risks, and ensuring delivery quality.

Mentor and upskill engineers and analysts, contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Identify opportunities to evolve internal best practices, frameworks, and architectural patterns. What We're Looking For

Proven experience in technical architecture and system design , ideally across complex data-focused platforms.

Strong coding background in at least one of the following : Scala, Spark, Java, or Python , with a deep understanding of software engineering principles.

Experience working with large-scale data systems , including data integration, quality assurance, and handling evolving data structures.

Solid understanding of non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, and performance optimisation.

Familiarity with version control (Git) , unit testing , and CI / CD practices .

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to confidently articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and influence across disciplines. Nice to Have

Experience in consulting, client-facing delivery, or product integration projects .

Exposure to data-centric domains such as fraud, risk, or financial services.

Prior experience working across distributed teams or international projects .
