What will you do

You will join the Preventive Management team (10 colleagues) with a global, cross-portfolio focus to drive changes, identify opportunities, and provide support. As a Provisions Credit Risk Analyst you will be responsible for calculating IFRS 9 provisions within SCIB’s Global Books and Branches, ensuring rigorous control and monitoring of the processes in compliance with current regulatory standards.

The objective is to guarantee the accuracy of the provisioned amount and its correct integration into accounting systems. Given the critical impact on the P&L, the control environment is demanding, and all processes must be documented with full traceability to respond to requests from third parties (e.g., supervisor JST) and internal and external auditors.

• Management of processes and controls related to the provisions engine (Modellica).
• Preparation and automation of internal-use reports to improve efficiency and information quality.
• Technical and operational support to Risk and Finance areas in Branches and other Group units (e.g., Intervención General and other Global Areas).
• Business support in the analysis of new initiatives and in addressing queries related to provisions.
• Assurance of compliance with governance and regulatory framework for provision reporting and approval.
• Participation in model ownership tasks for the quantitative SICR criterion for SCIB.
• Preparation and submission of regulatory reports, including EBA Stress Test, EBA Benchmark, and ad-hoc requests from supervisors such as ECB and JST.
