ETT MRTT and Eurofighter Quality Line Side Manager (Temp Agency)

Job Description:

An opportunity for a MRTT Eurofighter & Quality Line Side has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Tablada (Sevilla).

The selected candidate will join MRTT Eurofighter & Quality Line Side area

RESPONSABILITIES

- Manage and coordinate inspection team for MRTT and Eurofighter Quality Operations area ensuring that processes and products meet quality standards.

- Promote standard efficient methodologies: Moving Quality from Inspection & Assurance activities to Continuous Improvement and Prevention.

- Manage Customer satisfaction, working together with the multifunctional team of the area to guarantee quality, time and cost deliveries.

- Perform fast response to quality issues supporting production teams and internal Customer, ensuring appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions.

• Carry out investigations and root cause analysis from reported quality / technical problems, leading PPS (Practical Problem Solving) activities in the area.
• Optimize current Inspection activities and lead Operational Surveillance
• Contribute to ensure production takt-time through the rapid resolution of quality problems and the prevention of FO / DIM.
• Promote robust industrialization of Quality activities
• Lead Quality Gates with Customers
• Support internal and external audits
• Interface with Civil or Military authorities (CIP)
• Organize inspector team managing quality Inspections as per defined standards, final check and attestation, stop points, out of sequence work, including critical activities (when not delegated).
• Lead the team towards prevention activities (APQP).
• Guarantee the training and development of the team of inspectors.
• Contribute to increase the maturity of the processes considering OES Maturity Models.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Operations & Support Functions on Quality issues and observations from Operational Surveillance
• Follow up on-time closing and delivery of conformity documentation
• Follow up of the KPIs and their continuous improvements and establish action plan when required

SKILLS

• Bachelor degree related with the positition.
• Advanced level of Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge about Airbus products, culture and processes.
