Role Overview

We are seeking a Human Resources Director with a proven track record in managing large-scale operations and navigating complex labour relations environments. This role is pivotal in driving talent strategies, supporting organizational change, ensuring legal compliance, fostering a positive work environment, and acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and operational managers.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Manage labour disputes, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and health & safety regulations.
  • Promote a strong organizational culture, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Analyse HR metrics (absenteeism, turnover, engagement, etc.) and implement action plans.
  • Support performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in areas such as compensation, benefits, learning & development, and talent acquisition.

To Excel in This Role, You’ll Need :

  • University degree in Law, Psychology, Labour Relations, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 in senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in unionized environments and collective bargaining.
  • In-depth knowledge of Spanish labour law and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Resilient, agile, and comfortable leading in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is preferred.
