The Role
Our Cybersecurity team is growing and we are seeking additional expertise who can help continually improve the level of cybersecurity in our projects, allowing us to secure our top applications, domains and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity or unauthorized access
- Analyze security alerts and investigate potential security incidents
- Conduct threat hunting to identify and address potential threats
- Perform vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in computer systems and networks
- Conduct penetration testing to simulate attacks and evaluate security measures
- Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Respond to security breaches, investigate the cause and mitigate damage in real time
- Document incidents and provide reports to management and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Advise management on cybersecurity risks and provide improvement recommendations
- Stay current on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and new security technologies
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a similar disciplineKnowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, OWASP, GDPRKnowledge of technical concepts such as cloud computing, code review, application security, cryptography, forensics, vulnerability detection and GRC processesFamiliarity with attack and exploitation techniques involving operating systems, applications, and devices (CISA, CISSP, CompTIA, CEH)Understanding of security best practices for data and systems protectionFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as SonarQube, AWS Inspector, Qualys, NessusKnowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java and PHPAbility to evaluate, track, and manage information security threats and vulnerabilitiesUnderstanding and ability to perform penetration testing over applications and identify attack vectorsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to report and create KPIs for the Security DepartmentFamiliarity with ticketing tools such as JiraExpertise in security applied to cloud computing; certifications in GCP and / or AWS are a plusRelevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plusBenefits

Location
