Category Manager - FF&E and Construction (m / f / d)
As a member of Astore’s Category Management team, you play a key role in driving our strategy and delivering solutions for our hotel partners in the ENA region. Your focus will be on the Construction, Renovation, Technical Maintenance (CRTM) and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) categories across the ENA region. Your role will involve developing category strategies, managing tenders, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver value and ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set up strategies in your categories, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, deploy solutions in hotels, and manage supplier relationships
- Be responsible for all local procurement for your categories, managing offers on your marketplace; accountable for revenue and profit for the categories in scope
- Define and implement category strategies to achieve financial targets and enhance client satisfaction
- Lead tenders and bidding processes and support local identification and implementation of best practices and synergies
- Manage supplier selection and decision making, including assessment of quotations, negotiate contracts, prices and terms & conditions; fully responsible for source-to-contract processes (RFI / RFP / RFQ) for your categories
- Manage complex projects involving suppliers, technical directors, architects, and more
- Take full ownership of financial performance, including EBIT, revenue, customer savings, and bad debt control
Qualifications
Master degree in Business or EngineeringProven experience in procurement, especially in construction and FF&E categoriesExpertise in project procurement and category managementStrategic and analytical mindset with a strong customer focusSkilled in managing complex tenders and client relationshipsFull professional proficiency in English and French is a must; any additional European language is a plusComfortable working in multicultural and cross-functional environmentsWhat’s in there for you?
