Engineering Manager for Fintech

We're managing a role for an a well-founded (Series B) Fintech & Security company that helps banks and financial institutions with Digital Identity technology (Leader in their sector).

This is a strategic position, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Barcelona office, working directly with the Amsterdam office at a strategic level and managing the team in Barcelona (referent in Spain).

Responsibilities :

Be able to drive the software engineering team's best practices

2x Agile teams in BCN (6-12 people)

Expand, grow, retain & promote teams

Lead technical discussions and learning sessions

Develop more leaders within their team

Collaborate on product direction

Requierments :

8+ years in software product engineering

3+ years as a software engineering leader / manager

Experience & passion for hiring, growing, developing and guiding people

Excellent knowledge of modern web application development ( Azure, .NET & React is a plus)

Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)

Excellent communication skills including mentoring, coaching and conflict handling.

Self-driven and team player.

Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment in a fast-growing company.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 / C2)
