The role :

We are looking for a Automation and Control Engineer to join GTD Systems information, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and / or safety-critical applications.

GTD Sistemas de Información is an engineering company specialized in rockets (Ariane family) and Ground Control & Command for different launchers and earth observation satellites (civil & military). We know how to create breath-taking, powerful software which is reliable and cost effective, whether it’s needed for space transportation, earth observation and science exploration missions.

Position activities :

• Design, program, and maintain PLC-based automation systems (Siemens, Schneider, Beckhoff, etc.) following IEC61131 standards.
• Configure, manage, and optimize SCADA systems (WinCC OA, Citect, Panorama, Iconics) for mission-critical applications.
• Integrate and maintain industrial networks : Ethernet, EtherCAT, and fieldbus protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus / RTU / TCP).
• Lead FAT and SAT commissioning activities for automation and control systems.
• Create detailed technical documentation : specifications, code design, validation plans, user manuals, and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams on space projects, ensuring smooth deployment of ground infrastructure and launch systems.
