Overview

KD is a fabless semiconductor supplier providing innovative high-speed optical networking for harsh environments. KD offers technology as either ASSP or IP to be integrated in SoCs. KD has about 50 employees and is expanding due to development of innovative products and a new factory in Spain. Location : Madrid, Tres Cantos, Spain.

Position : Process Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Set up automatic equipment, with definition of process parameters, tools and workflow.
  • Define the design of experiments and specifications for the selection of materials and processes during the development of new products.
  • Create and update procedures, work instructions and provide training for the process technicians.
  • Prepare reports detailing findings from process development and product assembly.
  • Propose improvements in processes, quality, and safety.
  • Analyze failures and propose actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Train and support technicians in the correct operation of equipment and processes.
  • Participate in the definition and acceptance of new machines.
  • Manage the resources needed for various processes, including raw materials and consumables.
  • Collaborate with production team for process definition and feasibility of implementation in mass production.

What You Bring With You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Attention to detail, able to communicate effectively and willing to meet schedule targets.
  • Adaptability to changes of priorities and jobs.
  • Willingness to work with automated equipment in low-volume production environments.
  • Able to work in cleanroom environment, wearing proper coat, hairnet, shoes, gloves and masks.
  • Able to communicate and write in English.
