Overview

Brand Specialist role at Omnicom Media Group Spain, based in Barcelona with PHD offices. The candidate will provide stewardship and analysis of all media and communications across all media in a cost-effective manner and lead the development of communication plans in accordance with objectives and strategies for the account. This position offers the opportunity to participate in new business pitches and to join an energetic and innovative team with plans for growth.

Our specialized units cover data / tech (Annalect), sports sponsorships (FUSE), influencer marketing (CREO), ecommerce and retail media (Transact), and Adtech (TRKKN), offering integrated services for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-standard, quality service to clients by understanding their needs and objectives and recommending media channels for campaigns.
  • Develop knowledge of the client’s business and industry;

build solid relationships with suppliers and a strong understanding of the market’s media offering.

  • Identify target audiences and analyze ongoing results to uncover campaign trends and key insights;
  • inform media plans and strategies to attract and retain customers and to enhance brand recognition and loyalty.

  • Create media plans by extracting information using internal tools (Demilpa, AMI Digital) and ensure effective execution of plans.
  • Manage data provision from tagging to reporting and analysis, liaising with clients, publishers and internal teams (e.G., Trafficking, Finance).
  • Prepare competitive reports with in-depth analysis and explain implications.
  • Identify and apply forecasting for digital media plans;
  • evaluate plans ensuringcorrect rates, discounts, and agency fees;
  • assemble basic offline plans (including TV) and comprehensive digital plans that tie back to objectives.

  • Coordinate with the investment team to ensure best outcomes and maintain timelines;
  • brief the investment team properly.

    Knowledge and Skills

  • Media planning components and end-to-end process;
  • ability to complete plans and forecast for digital objectives.

  • Ability to evaluate plans with correct rates, discounts, and agency fees;
  • create comprehensive digital plans with rationale linked to objectives.

  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities;
  • experience with competitive reporting and deriving actionable insights.

  • Experience with planning tools and research sources (e.G., Infosys, Kantar, Tom Micro, Galileo, Omniture, Demilpa, AMI Digital, Sizmek, Comscore, Google Analytics, DCM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Advanced English required;
  • European Community (EU)work permit is a must.

    Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role with digital and offline planning.
  • Organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and interpret data.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing communications channels (digital and content) and relevant platforms (Sizmek, Comscore, Google Analytics, DCM, Meta Business Manager, Taboola, Outbrain).
