As our Frontend Engineer in Barcelona, you’ll join JOIN at an exciting moment : the launch of our new office in Spain. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our product and platform, working with a modern tech stack to deliver robust, scalable features. This isn’t just another job – you’ll be part of building a new engineering hub from the ground up.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and DevOps / Platform teams to create meaningful features for our customers through our Agile SDLC / Kanban methodology.Conduct peer code reviews and participate in project retrospectives to discuss and implement improvements as a team.Help define requirements and propose the best way to achieve team goals.Participate in technical retrospectives to discuss testing culture, architectural solutions, automation topics, coding standards, and more.Think beyond code to consider product value and how to improve the customer experience.Your future team
Frontend Guild focuses on providing JOIN’s customers and candidates with a smooth UX, beautiful UI, and rich functionality using data-rich capabilities.Frontend engineering is collaborative with product and design, with accessibility and security in mind.We maintain a robust, Figma-synced Design System, code generators, and coding conventions to ensure consistency and focus on business logic and customer value.We emphasize stability by writing E2E tests and optimizing performance.Requirements
5+ years of frontend development experience using frameworks and UI libraries.2+ years of development experience in React.js and Redux.2+ years of experience with TypeScript.2+ years of experience with GraphQL.Nice to have
Experience with JS / TS linters, webpack, babel, or other bundle / configuration management.Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or other E2E frameworks.Experience building Design System components using Storybook or similar tools.Experience building Monorepo apps.Engineering culture
