We work with clients across the Financial Services industry including; on Banks, Private Equity investors, Regulatory authorities, Insurers, wealth and asset managers and other specialised FS firms. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to use your financial services and / or consultancy experience to become involved in a ‘hands on’ team. As a valued member of the FSI Madrid team, you will work on a variety of projects, leveraging your financial services industry knowledge and your experience of financial modelling to support the senior team members in managing large and complex transformation programs, cost reduction initiatives, winding down non‑core assets and above all else generating impact for our clients.

The consultant will join a

team specialized in revenue improvement for the banking industry

which is based in the Madrid office of Alvarez & Marsal

The delivery of the projects is Global, which implies the need to travel to the countries where the clients are

The consultant will propose concrete ideas and will build complete Business Cases to improve the profitability of the client's products, having a

transversal vision of the banking business

(design of products and commercial strategies, operational aspects, risks, regulatory aspects, implementations, etc.)

The consultant will build his analyses on the basis of the bank's

transactional data

(with which he will build financial models), analyze banking processes, the product portfolio, customer behavior, the competitive environment and the regulatory framework

hence, the project has wide visibility in the organization

The team currently carries out projects in top‑tier

banks in more than 20 countries on 3 continents

Motivated person with great analytical capacity and interest in building complex financial models from transactional data

~1-4 years with a background in consulting within the financial services sector

~ Ease of handling and analysing large databases (knowledge of Access, SQL, SAS or similar)

~ Interest in specialising in the financial sector (mainly retail banking) and in results‑oriented business consulting

~ Graduate in Economics, Business Administration and Management, Engineer, Mathematician or similar degrees with a clearly quantitative profile

English : Any other language (like Spanish) will be positively valued
