As part of this growth, AC Talent is seeking a Corporate Controller to ensure the financial and operational foundations needed to support this solid growth trajectory.
Your Role As our Finance Controller, you will take the lead on key corporate finance and administration functions, ensuring compliance, rigor, confidentiality, and actionable insights that shape our strategic decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities Lead all corporate finance and administration functions, including treasury, controlling, FP&A, accounting, tax, compliance, and general services, working closely with company leadership and the operations team.
Safeguard the confidentiality of financial, strategic, and partner-related information across all processes.
Partner with the operations team to enable international growth plans by developing business intelligence, insights, and data aligned with our strategic agenda.
Collaborate with our international network of advisers to ensure a robust, compliant operational and administrative framework in all markets where AC Talent operates.
Manage and coordinate with a highly reputed external firm in legal and audit to ensure proper governance, compliance, and alignment with our values.
Build and maintain strong relationships with our partners – players, coaches, clubs, investors, industry organizations, and agencies – fostering trust and an efficient way of working.
Act as an ambassador of our values, ensuring that trust, credibility, and respect guide every decision we make and that our partners’ interests remain at the forefront.
Requirements University degree in Business Administration or related field; a degree in Law will be highly valued.
Strong foundation developed in a global assurance or advisory firm, ideally as an auditor or consultant.
Subsequent corporate-level operational experience within a multinational environment, leading finance, controlling, FP&A, and administrative areas at headquarters level.
Knowledge of personnel administration and / or labor law will be highly valued.
Knowledge of or passion for the football industry is a strong plus.
International experience with proven ability to work across different markets and languages. Fluency – ideally bilingual proficiency – in English is required.
Willingness to live in Zaragoza or work from our Zaragoza office at least 3 days per week.
