MSL Manager Oncology - Spain

Overview Join our dynamic Oncology team in Spain as an MSL Manager and make a significant impact in the field of oncology. This is an exciting opportunity to work with both recently launched and established products, with potential for further launches on the horizon. A strong background in oncology is highly desirable. This home-based position, preferably located in Madrid, will require approximately 40% travel, providing a balance of local engagement and strategic oversight.

Responsibilities Lead and support a geographically distributed team of six MSEs, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure project success.

Conduct training and coaching activities, as well as field visits, to drive continual improvement of the team.

Implement the MSE excellence framework and consolidate medical insights to inform Medical Advisors.

Collaborate with Medical Advisors to execute the national medical strategy at a local level.

Oversee planning and tracking of medical activities, including clinical studies and medical education initiatives, while ensuring operational excellence.

Who You Are Deep understanding of the local healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry, with experience in Medical Affairs.

4–5 years of experience as an MSL, and ideally experience managing a team of MSEs.

Experience in the Oncology therapeutic area is highly desirable.

Proven track record in designing and executing medical education and scientific communication plans at the local level.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, complemented by effective communication skills.

Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration, with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Experience working within cross-functional matrix teams and the ability to motivate and influence others.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external experts, backed by deep scientific knowledge.

Strong accountability and ownership for both individual and organizational performance.
