The FinCore Engineering team at Ebury is seeking a FullStack Engineer to play a crucial part in ourteam. As part of our diverse team spread across South America and Europe, the successful candidatewill be entrusted with the development and optimisation of our multi-currency accounting system andexchange of foreign currencies. You'll be required to make significant contributions to our platform aswe continually aim to bring it to the next level and deliver the best FX experience for our clients andoperational teams.

What you will do :

  • Contribute to the development of the next iteration of our FX platform’s services, collaboratingboth in the development and delivery of new products but also in the improvement andautomation of existing ones.
  • Collaborate with your team members and engineering leaders to design new services andcomponents using our Request For Comments (RFC) process.
  • Be open to sharing knowledge and learning from more experienced team members.
  • Work closely with product and operational teams on product initiatives from discovery todelivery.
  • Take ownership of the products you build, embracing both their development and ongoingmaintenance.
  • About you :

  • You have experience in developing software systems, mainly Python on the backend, andReact on the frontend, but we value experience with any modern language and framework.
  • Since you will work side by side with colleagues from different countries, you will be able tocommunicate clearly and concisely your ideas in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are adept at both constructing and managing services. As such, you should haveproficiency in establishing standard APIs, incorporating monitoring systems and alertingservices, along with expertise in integrating external systems.
  • You are not afraid of legacy code, being able to keep it running and make improvementproposals once you are comfortable with the workflows, so that we can reduce our technicaldebt backlog.
  • Quality is important to us, we expect your code to be testable and well covered with unit andintegration tests. We use CI Jenkins pipelines and terraform for the deployment of servicesand infrastructure. From time to time, you might need to contribute to it.
