The Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) invites applications for a PhD Student position in the Theory Group focused on Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) and Cosmology. The group conducts theoretical and experimental collaborations in particle physics, cosmology, and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry independent and collaborative research in topics related to physics beyond the Standard Model, formal aspects of quantum field theories, gravitation, gravitational waves, cosmology, and astroparticle physics.
• Progress toward a PhD in 4 years with a combination of theoretical work and collaboration with experimental colleagues at IFAE where applicable.
• Present research results at seminars, conferences, and within the theory group and with collaborators.
