Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our operations by verifying and processing incoming vendor invoices, issuing national and international invoices to vendors, maintaining a comprehensive and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting standards and reporting schedules, providing essential support for monthly accounting activities, creating and modifying master data in SAP Fi to optimize financial data management, updating vendor data in the general ledger, quarterly reconciliation of vendor control accounts, storing and documenting all payment supporting documents correctly, administering weekly expenses by checking correct postings in the general ledger and arranging payments, monthly monitoring and reconciliation of bank account balances, inter-company balance reconciliation, supporting our tax expert with correct reporting and payment of Spanish taxes, as well as preparing tax declarations and SII, ensuring updates to the Accounting manual and guidelines, participating actively in the Company's audit process, including preparation of information required by auditors and annual accounts, and supporting the Financial & Controlling Manager in day-to-day professional duties.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Verifying and processing incoming vendor invoices for payment.
  • Issuing national and international invoices to vendors.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting standards and reporting schedules.
  • Providing essential support for monthly accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness for final reporting.
  • Creating and modifying master data in SAP Fi to optimize financial data management.
  • Updating vendor data in the general ledger.
  • Quarterly reconciliation of vendor control accounts.
  • Storing and documenting all payment supporting documents correctly.
  • Administering weekly expenses by checking correct postings in the general ledger and arranging payments.
  • Monthly monitoring and reconciliation of bank account balances.
  • Inter-company balance reconciliation.
  • Supporting our tax expert with correct reporting and payment of Spanish taxes, as well as preparing tax declarations and SII.
  • Ensuring updates to the Accounting manual and guidelines.
  • Participating actively in the Company's audit process, including preparation of information required by auditors and annual accounts.
  • Supporting the Financial & Controlling Manager in day-to-day professional duties.

Requirements :

  • Relevant degree in Administration, Finance or Accounting, preferably with professional experience in accounting.
  • Ideal 2 years of experience in accounting departments within the renewable energy sector.
  • Expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel, and in SAP tools.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail when handling figures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Residence in Madrid.
  • A genuine interest in the renewable energy transition.
