Marketing Automation Senior Consultant (BAU & Campaign Operations in SFMC)

Core Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior or Mid-Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to manage the day-to-day operations (BAU) of an international client. This role focuses on campaign execution, journey optimization, and automation management, ensuring flawless delivery and continuous improvement of marketing activities.

Your responsibilities will include :

Own the end-to-end execution of campaigns and journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Manage Automation Studio and Journey Builder for recurring and ad-hoc campaigns.

Monitor and optimize campaign performance, applying best practices to improve engagement and deliverability.

Ensure data integrity and segmentation accuracy for targeted communications.

Collaborate with client stakeholders to prioritize BAU activities and propose enhancements.

Maintain operational documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Requirements

Hard Skills (Must-Have)

3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with strong expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.

Technical Proficiency : Exhibit solid technical skills, including :

Advanced SQL and AMPscript

Advanced HTML / CSS

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS)

Technical Assessment : Be prepared to undergo a technical assessment during the interview process to evaluate your knowledge of the platform.

Soft Skills (Must-Have)

Fluent in English : Demonstrate proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as most meetings will be conducted in this language.

Analytical and Critical Thinking : Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to design and deliver optimal solutions that meet client requirements and expectations.

Self-Management : Demonstrate the ability to manage resources effectively and display a commitment to continuous professional development within the organisation.

Proactive and Flexible : Exhibit a proactive approach, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset, coupled with strong client-facing capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Sales / Service Cloud Knowledge : Possess a high-level understanding of Sales / Service Cloud and its potential for data exploitation within SFMC.

Industry Knowledge : Have familiarity with the pharmaceutical or medical industry to enhance the understanding of client needs and contexts.

Agile Project Management Experience : Bring experience in project management, particularly using agile methodologies, to facilitate effective project execution.
