Overview

Fastned is expanding its network of fast charging stations in Spain and is looking to strengthen the local construction team with a Project Manager to support bringing construction projects to life. Join a fast-growing company with a purpose working to accelerate the transition to electric mobility. We are 400+ colleagues from over 50 nationalities, in 10 countries, with our HQ in Amsterdam. We are B Corp certified and have received recognition for the best charging network in the UK, France, and the Netherlands.

As part of the onboarding, you will participate in workshops to learn about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our innovative and rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage applications for grid connections.
  • Order materials, process invoices, manage budget and planning.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, particularly regarding permitting and authorisations, in close contact with local and international teams (e.g., architects, construction managers, network development managers).
  • Visit business partners or sites to demonstrate negotiation skills, a hands-on mentality, high quality standards, and attention to detail.
  • Support the network development team in site evaluations and due diligence.
  • Other project management activities as needed to bring construction projects to life.

Qualifications / What we are looking for

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • First experience as project manager.
  • Strong technical affinity.
  • Ability to structure and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel within Spain and abroad.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Driving license.
  • Genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned’s mission.
