Our legal team manages the entire lifecycle of trading contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Drafting sales contracts and amendments for purchase / sale operations involving crude, products, biofuels, and other energy commodities, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of Moeve Trading and its subsidiaries.
• Conducting comprehensive analyses of tenders, contractual frameworks and general terms and conditions, identifying potential risks that could impact operations.
• Reviewing purchase contracts issued by counterparties to verify compliance with agreed commercial terms and mitigate potential risks.
• Negotiating contract amendments, ensuring they align with company policies and effectively manage potential economic or reputational risks.
• Providing legal and technical support to other areas (including Operations, Finance, Credit, and Back Office), assisting with the interpretation of contractual clauses.
• Keeping informed of national and international regulations relevant to operations to ensure contracts adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
• Maintaining communication with all business stakeholders (including counterparties, front office, operations and legal teams) to ensure accurate and timely flow of information for each operation.
• Collaborating in the development and implementation of digital systems (including document management systems and knowledge databases) to optimize contract management processes.
