Overview

Full Stack Developer | Freelance | Remote | Catalonia

I am currently working with a respected digital marketing agency who are looking to bring in an experienced Full Stack Developer to lead the department on a freelance basis to help improve their processes and deliver future projects.

Role Details

Job title : Full Stack Developer.

Working Model : Remote.

Day Rate : D.O.E.

Contract Length : 6 Month contract with extension possibilities.

Key Skills

  • Strong expertise in Python (non-negotiable) and Node.js (must)
  • Proficiency with React for front-end development
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation
  • Strong background in data management (data lakes, warehouses, streaming analytics)
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform (Big Data, ML fundamentals, resilient streaming systems)
  • Ability to take projects end-to-end with focus on back-end development
  • Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices (scalability, resiliency, clean code)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end development of small to medium-scale projects
  • Lead the modernization of data lakes and data warehouses on Google Cloud Platform
  • Build and maintain resilient streaming analytics systems
  • Design, implement, and optimize back-end services and APIs (Python, Node.js)
  • Develop and maintain React-based front-end components
  • Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions
  • Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and performant

    • Key Requirements

  • Full working proficiency in English
  • Eligibility to work within the EU without sponsorship
  • 4-7 years experience working with the above technologies
