Location Location : Madrid, Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain real-time, mission-critical software solutions for satellite operations

Define satellite communications protocols for mission design (adapting existing protocols to cubesat / new-space missions)

Analyse data to identify issues and inefficiencies in the full stack of services and propose solutions to improve productivity

Drive improvements to fleet capacity and productivity through process enhancements

Monitor satellite health and perform on-orbit experiments

Qualifications Profile : Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or similar

Proficiency in software development, particularly in Python or equivalent languages

Proactive, self-starter approach to engineering and problem-solving

Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills within a technical team

Full professional proficiency in English

Preferred Educational Master level

Familiarity with satellite engineering and / or the space environment and its challenges

Familiarity with communications protocols (TCP / IP, CSP, MQTT, FTP, ...) and standards (CCSDS, ECSS)

Experience with Bash and Linux

Hands-on experience operating spacecraft or remote systems

Familiarity with automation and optimization tools
