Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Pepper Group Spain is investing in the development of a loan servicing platform and broader ecosystem with the goal of providing modular elements of the platform to internal and third-party customers on a SaaS basis.

About the role

The Azure Infrastructure Engineer is a key new appointment to Project PRISM, working with the dedicated team to build the platform for web and mobile access.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be a proactive, high-achieving individual who brings product and domain expertise, with experience in building cloud infrastructure for high-quality enterprise applications and a passion for technology.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Azure infrastructure using best tools and practices.
• Design and configuration of CI / CD pipelines, containers, virtual networks, and monitoring dashboards.
• Design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for multi-tenant setups.
• Performance monitoring and optimization of Azure resources, including cost and performance advice.
• Implementation of governance policies such as Azure AD, security, and virtual networks.
• Collaboration with development, testing, and Scrum teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure AD, security, and IaC tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
• Advocacy for CI / CD methodologies, familiar with Azure DevOps.
• Deep understanding of cloud artifacts / tools such as containers, API management, event bus, app services, and monitoring.
