My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel.
They are looking to hire a Product Specialist to work within the Enablement team, an internal team supporting the Product Teams.
About the Role Job Summary :
Enablers are internal components that power applications by delivering core data, configuration, and integration capabilities. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of shared components.
You will lead cross-functional coordination, financial oversight, and delivery tracking for these components. This is a highly collaborative role interfacing with end-product product managers, legal, finance, and engineering teams.
You will act as a key contributor to internal product strategy, ensuring that Enablers scale effectively and consistently deliver value across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the enabler roadmaps ensuring alignment with strategy.
- Prepare Investment Board content and support financial planning for shared components.
- Manage cost distribution across consuming products, working with Finance to ensure transparency.
- Act as the main point of contact for product teams integrating enablers, aligning on priorities and dependencies.
- Lead quarterly commitment planning, including scope definition, resource coordination and delivery tracking.
- Support alignment with platform standards by coordinating with architecture and product teams on integration flows, API usage, and data models.
- Promote enabler value through internal presentations and external communications.
- Provide strategic input on data governance, reusable service design, and cross-product alignment.
- Coordinate onboarding of new data sources or services into enablers, ensuring readiness across legal, technical, and product teams.
Required Skills & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, ideally with exposure to lifecycle planning and cost tracking.Comfortable working across teams and aligning priorities between technical and business stakeholders.Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and integration-heavy environments.Desirable Skills :
Aviation industry knowledge or experience working with aviation-related data.Formal training or certification in product management
