IT Manager : Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Specialist

Are you a technical expert with a strategic mindset, ready to define the future architecture for manufacturing IT? Our client, non-food FMCG is looking for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Specialist to refresh their MES strategy and develop the end vision for their manufacturing IT landscape.

You will join a focused team led by Alban (IT Lead for Europe, Africa, and Asia) at the forefront of a global digital transformation. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a manufacturing change ahead of industry competitors, potentially significantly increasing your market value .

The Role : Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Specialist

In this role, you will be crucial in setting the strategic direction for Duracell ’s core manufacturing technology. You will manage and coach vendors and ensure that the MES landscape is robust, compliant, and aligned with the company’s digital future.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Refreshing the strategy for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) .
• Developing the comprehensive end vision for the manufacturing IT landscape.
• Managing and coaching external vendors (including a Belgian-based company) to meet IT industry standards.
• Building a strong partnership with the MES vendor.
• Providing expertise on plant infrastructure , security, and common processes like label printing .
• Being prepared to handle organizational resistance and drive standardization efforts.
