Job Description

Join the DB Spain Risk team in Madrid as a Risk Reporting Analyst within the Enterprise Risk Management team.

Are you ready to make an impact at the intersection of Risk Methodology, Finance, and Risk Management? We are seeking a talented and dynamic credit risk analyst to join our team and contribute to the evolving landscape of financial risk management.

As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Head of Portfolio Management. Your expertise will drive the analysis and reporting of DB Spain portfolios, focusing on inherent risks (financial and non-financial) and supporting a wide range of stakeholders with your reports.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible mindset, the ability to work with large datasets (knowledge of SAS is a plus), and a passion for working in diverse, global environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of risk-focused reports on metrics, portfolio evolution, data quality, and local interactions, with great attention to detail due to information sensitivity.
  • Assist in preparing reports for different committees, managing tight deadlines.
  • Perform ad-hoc and regular analyses and presentations related to Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management, mainly for Risk Spain Senior Management.
  • Conduct local Risk Weighted Assets analysis for PB Spain retail portfolios.
  • Proactively develop tasks and maintain professional relationships with local and global Risk colleagues, business areas, and infrastructure teams.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge in risk management, portfolio analysis, and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Background in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or related fields, with solid risk management knowledge. Experience in credit risk, audit, or consulting specialized in credit risk is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAS is a plus; Python knowledge is recommended. Strong quantitative and qualitative credit data analysis skills are required.
  • Flexible, proactive, results-driven, with a focus on innovation. Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and process evaluation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Spanish and English, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
