We are seeking individuals with a client-first mindset and the ability to engage clients and grow relationships through high-touch service and customer care. The Senior Client Solutions Associate role is within our EMEA Private Equity Financial Services team, based in Barcelona.
We have a prestigious client base at leading financial institutions in the EMEA region, including some of the world’s largest Private Equity funds.
This is a key role within GLG, serving our clients and exceeding their expectations. You will be responsible for delivering projects, building relationships with Network Members (experts), and collaborating with senior colleagues to maximize GLG’s growth and impact. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : Executing time-sensitive projects for clients within specialized teams, divided by industry, region, or investment strategy.
Leveraging GLG’s network to match Network Members with clients based on their needs and recruiting new senior industry experts to grow our network during the first 2-4 months.
Interacting daily with experts over the phone to qualify profiles and ensure precise matches for client projects.
Maintaining accountability for client projects and overall client experience.
Building strong relationships with clients through background research of their portfolios and investment criteria.
Partnering with Business Development / Sales teams to grow revenue and retain existing accounts.
Collaborating with Events, Strategic Projects, and Survey teams to pitch and execute various products.
Preparing for and attending client meetings alongside Sales and other Client Solutions team members.
Owning client relationships, ideally gained in a B2B environment such as sales, account management, or customer success.
Providing excellent service, care, and insights to clients.
Demonstrating strong communication skills across different interaction modes.
Delivering client service in a fast-paced environment with commercial acumen.
Working collaboratively with a proactive mindset.
Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
Ability to multitask and prioritize with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Career Progression : After 18-24 months, based on performance, Senior Client Services Associates may advance to roles managing their own client portfolios, with opportunities to move within different business units and develop new skills.
