🔹 Opportunity – Cloud Security Engineer 🔹
📌 About the role
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join one of our international clients’ cybersecurity and cloud operations teams. This role will place you at the forefront of protecting the organization’s multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data across AWS and Azure .
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional DevOps, IT, and security teams to monitor, detect, respond to, and mitigate cloud security threats in real time , while continuously improving the overall cloud security posture through automation and policy enforcement.
💻 What you’ll do
🔹 Design and implement secure cloud solutions in AWS and Azure , aligned with best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR).
🔹 Configure and manage SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel) and EDR tools (CrowdStrike, Defender) for proactive threat detection and response.
🔹 Automate security controls using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Policy-as-Code principles.
🔹 Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security throughout the CI / CD lifecycle.
🔹 Strengthen network security (firewalls, VPNs, WAFs) and container security (Kubernetes hardening, CWPP).
🔹 Collaborate with teams on incident management and forensic analysis , ensuring effective communication and rapid resolution.
🔹 Contribute to continuous security improvement, compliance validation, and process automation initiatives.
💡 Must Have
🔹 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud operations .
🔹 Proven hands-on experience with AWS and / or Azure cloud security tools and architectures .
🔹 Strong understanding of shared responsibility models and cloud security design .
🔹 Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, CSPM, CWPP , and network security solutions.
🔹 Experience automating security via Terraform , Ansible , or similar IaC tools.
🔹 Scripting skills in Python , PowerShell , YAML , KQL , or similar languages.
🔹 Over 2 years of DevSecOps experience implementing security in CI / CD pipelines.
🔹 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset.
✨ Nice to Have
🔹 Certifications such as CISSP , CCSP , Azure Security Engineer Associate , or AWS Security Specialty .
🔹 Familiarity with GitHub Actions , Jenkins , and secure CI / CD practices.
🔹 Experience with OpenShift or other container orchestration environments.
🔹 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Cybersecurity , or related field.
🔹 Experience in incident response and crisis management in fast-paced environments.
