We are looking for

We are looking for a Customer Success Team Lead – Small Clients (m / f / d) based in Barcelona, who will lead a team managing BizAway’s smaller clients. This is a unique role at the intersection of customer success, automation, and scalable client engagement.

Your role in BizAway

As a Team Lead, you will guide a small team of Client Specialists responsible for a shared portfolio of 800+ small clients. Your mission is to ensure these clients are onboarded successfully, adopt the platform, renew contracts, and expand their usage, all through efficient, scalable approaches.

Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Client Specialists handling small accounts;
  • Ensure client onboarding, ramp-up, renewal, and upselling activities are delivered effectively at scale;
  • Drive adoption and satisfaction across 800+ clients using automation, playbooks, and digital-first engagement models;
  • Monitor portfolio health using dashboards, KPIs, and Salesforce, ensuring risks are addressed proactively;
  • Experiment with new tools, processes, and workflows to increase team efficiency and customer impact;
  • Collaborate with Product, Service, and Support teams to advocate for client needs and streamline processes;
  • Promote a customer-first but scalable mindset, balancing human touch with automation.

Your basic qualifications

  • Experience leading a small team (Customer Success, Account Management, or Customer Support)
  • Strong interest in automation, digital engagement, and process optimization
  • Solid understanding of client lifecycle management : onboarding, adoption, renewals, and upselling
  • Proficiency in CRM and customer engagement tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (especially Italian / Spanish) are a plus
  • We are also interested in

  • Experience working with large client portfolios in B2B SaaS, Travel Tech, or customer support environments
  • Background in building playbooks, self-service models, or tech-touch strategies
