Hotel Asset Management PositionThe primary goal of this role is to enhance the value of an investment portfolio over time. The Hotel Asset Manager will report to the Chief Operations Officer.Main Responsibilities : - Conduct regular reviews and analyses of hotels' performance to optimize profit while maintaining high guest satisfaction and maximizing asset value.- Carry out site visits to ensure assets meet quality technical specifications and comply with relevant legislation and regulations.- Participate in acquisition processes to assist in underwriting and transition activities.- Manage reporting information for external parties, including clients and consultants.- Assist in refining best-in-class asset management policies and procedures.- Analyse monthly census and financial data to maximize owners' returns and expectations.- Participate in monthly reviews of properties.- Collect property reports from property managers and prepare summaries for client submission.- Prepare monthly and quarterly status reports for each property.- Oversee capital expenditure projects, including review of approval of scope and contracts.- Analyse and report on market competition of each property.- Provide support on Revenue Management.- Support effective management of operations by advising on policy and procedure.- Review productivity and propose solutions to improve efficiency at the staff level.- Collate and upload documents to virtual data rooms.- Review cashflows.- Assist in preparation and reporting to clients.- Produce asset management reports as required.- Annual Budget and Plan Review— Recommend changes to Annual Budget and Plan and oversee implementation.Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree.- 4-6 years of hotel experience in operations and finance in hospitality or a consulting firm related to the hotel industry.- Advanced analytics of financial statements and reporting experience.- Familiarity with marketing in the hotel industry.- Established organisational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.- Extensive computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and property managers.- Ability and willingness to travel on an as-needed basis.- Clear communication (written and verbal) in English is a must, and other languages like Spanish, French, German, or Italian are a plus.What We Offer : - Possibility of developing professionally in a major independent company specialising in hotel asset management.- Hybrid work based in Spain.- Competitive remuneration package.- A dynamic professional work environment with excellent potential for growth and development.- Exposure to international business and assignment of large projects.
