Quality Control Technician

With more than 3.500 products permanently available in stock we can offer a just-in-time response to our customers​ needs. We have established commercial agreements with important producers of raw materials, which give Ventós a leading position as agents or distributors of their products.

Our main production plant and offices (HQ) are in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona). Ventós​ presence is worldwide : Ventós Brazil, Ventós China, Ventós Colombia, Ventós Grasse, Ventós Mexico, Ventós Singapore, Ventós USA and Ventós Indonesia. Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.

Responsibilities :

• Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals
• Carry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standars
• Conduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis)
• Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instruments
• Participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatography
• Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliance
• Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department
