Job Description
- Underwrite profitable casualty business aligned with the underwriting plan and company standards.
- Assess and clarify complex risks using sound professional judgment.
- Apply rating tools and ensure complete, accurate underwriting documentation.
- Manage risk exposures through aggregate limits and reinsurance strategies.
- Oversee submission tracking, binding processes, and quality assurance reviews.
- Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships to drive business growth.
- Contribute to the Iberia underwriting strategy and develop market-specific policy wordings.
- Monitor portfolio performance against budget and business plan targets.
- Lead and develop the local underwriting team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.
